Hello beautiful people, how are ya!?
Can you believe it’s Tuesday already? Wasn’t friYAY a couple minutes ago? JEEZ the days are surely flying! Anywho, today I just want to keep you updated on my fitness journey.
At the start of 2018, one of my goals was to be consistent with health and fitness. I even went to the extent of saying NO CHEAT DAYS.
My conscience would eat me up If I lie that my lifestyle is packed with healthy eating habits and a regular gym routine. Truthfully, I took a week’s break from fitness and a week turned into months. THEN, before you know it, I was craving all sorts of crap. I had to remind myself why I started my fitness journey.
This is week two of settling back into my routine and it’s going pretty well so far. It wasn’t as hard as I expected, just a little muscle sore here and there and of course my husband is still my gym partner. I plan on setting more realistic goals such as:
- Visit the gym no more than 3 times per week for healthy muscle growth and fat burn.
- Aim for no less than 80% clean eating habit.
- Drink at least two liters of water daily.
- Get involved in more activities like tennis and jogging.
Though I fell off track, I am determined to be more consistent, disciplined and steadfast in my health journey. It’s better to strive for progress than perfection.
