Skincare Routine

After turning 30, I started to notice changes in my skin- moles were multiplying on my face and neck and enlarged pores in my cheek area. This caused me to panic and become more conscious of skincare.

Back in July of 2018, I did a laser treatment to remove the moles(for cosmetic reasons) and I couldn’t believe how much clearer and cleaner my skin looks. For the past 6 months, I have been taking great care of my skin and the result is winning.Processed with VSCO with a5 preset For today’s post, I will be sharing my nighttime skincare routine with you.

1. Pre-cleanse

I use this step whenever I wear makeup or if my skin feels extremely greasy. One of my Insta friends told me about this product, but I never got around to using it until Rory(skincare fanatic) brought it home and OMG it has been my go-to makeup remover.

It really does a great job at removing heavy makeup.

What I like about Dermalogica’s Pre-Cleanse Is that it is gentle on the skin especially around the eyes and a little goes a long way. It’s a great alternative to facial wipes.

I  have been using Dermalogica’s Skin Resurfacing Cleanser for a couple months now and the product is ahhhmazing. This cleanser does 2 jobs in one- exfoliates and cleanse, leaving my skin looking beautiful and bright.

3. Tone

After I pat-dry my face, I spritz with Control Corrective’s Balancing Tonic Toner. I never used to include this step in my skincare until I learned that It hydrates the skin and minimize the appearance of pores by removing any hidden gunk…now that’s some truth!

4. Serum

I use the Control Corrective Crystal C Anti-Aging Serum and let me tell you, it’s my favourite product from the line. It wakes up my skin and diminishes the appearance of sun damage and wrinkles. I can’t live without this product!

5. Moisturize

Processed with VSCO with h6 presetI recently discovered Clinique’s 72 hours Moisture Surge and I am oh so happy. The moisturizer is easy to apply, so refreshing and leaves my skin plump and hydrated. I will be using this for a very long time.

This is pretty much my nighttime routine, friends. If you have a skincare routine you’d like to share, please leave your tips in the comment section, thanks.
